UpperRoom

SPIRITUAL FAMILY

UpperRoom started with a core group of saints with a passionate heart for experiencing true warmth in Scripture based regular fellowship.
We are a simple, uncomplicated church with a biblical foundation and Christ as our center. We are about loving God and loving people. Our worship services are conducted in a house church style striving to replicate the model we see in the Book of Acts.

When do we meet?

Every Sundays, 4pm for High Tea, followed by 4.30pm start of Weekly Service.

Our worship services are conducted in a house church style striving to replicate the model we see in the Book of Acts.

What can I expect to find?

You will find a mixed group of Christians modestly dressed, children singing contemporary songs with the adults, Psalms reading followed by a passionate time of engaging with the Word of God. There are opportunities for the audience to reflect on their personal understanding or experiences, followed by sharing of testimonies and time of prayer specifically to intercede for the prayer requests that are shared.

What is the singing session like?

We sing a mix of contemporary praise and adoration, also some classic traditional hymns, accompanied by instruments like the keyboard, guitar, clapbox etc.

Activities Outside of the Main Worship Service

While coming together to worship the living Lord is a foundational piece of our church identity, we also have routine daily online prayer meets for those interested to participate via zoom. We also enjoy spending time to fellowship together while getting involved in a game or grab a meal outdoors or get involved in other activities that help us connect further within and outside the community.

Are there any other verticals of the ministry?

We can offer Biblical programs namely B.Min. and M.Min., other certification programs, music training and one to one mentoring for personal spiritual enrichment.

Our Motto

For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only
begotten Son (Jesus Christ),
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
